How to Get a Mystery Gift in Pokémon HOME
To gain a Mystery Gift for completing a Pokédex, first open the game menu and go to Pokédex.
Tap the Pokédex that was completed. Completed Pokédexes will have a red exclamation point (!) on them.
After opening the Pdokédex, Grand Oak will let you know the Pokédex is complete and give you a Mystery Gift.
Once the Mystery Gift has been obtained, return to the game menu and go to "Mystery Gift" and choose "Gift Box".
Go down to the bottom of the list for unopened Mystery Gifts.
Tap into the Mystery Gift to receive it.
