Mystery Gifts
As soon as you gain access to "Link Play", you can get the Gardevoirite Mega Stone for Gardevoir via Mystery Gift before February 28, 2026.
Additionally, the Diancite Mega Stone for Diancie is available via Mystery Gift.
After Mission 9
Upon completing main mission 9, you will obtain a Mega Ring and Absolite Mega Stone for Absol.
After Rank F - Main Mission 10

During the course of game play you will receive Zygard's Zygardite. So by the time you catch Zygard you will already have its Mega Stone.
After beating 15 reward matches in the Infinite Royale you'll get a side story to get Floettite for Floette.
Competitive
Between December 18, 2025 and January 8, 2026 Baxcalibrite for Baxcalibur will be given as a reward for reaching Rank S. Greninjaite will be a reward for Rank Y, Delphoxite for Rank V, and Chesnaughtite for Rank U.
Between January 8, 2026 and January 30, 2026 Sceptilite for Sceptile will be given as a reward for reaching Rank S. Baxcalibrite will be a reward for Rank V, Delphoxite for Rank X, Chesnaughtite for Rank Y, and Greninjite for Rank Y.
Mega Dimension DLC: Hyperspace Missions
During the Mega Dimension DLC you'll get Hyperspace Missions that function like the main missions in the base game. During several of these missions you will fight against Rouge Mega Pokémon and be rewarded with their Mega Stones upon victory.

Unlike the base game, several Mega Stones in the Mega Dimension DLC are obtained through Side Missions rather than Main Missions or for purchase.

Mega Dimension DLC: Hyperspace Arenas
There are additional Mega Stones that are available after defeating the corresponding Pokémon in the Hyperspace Arenas. These appear randomly and you can reset the available Hyperspace portals by changing from day to night or vice versa. The portals will say "Unidentified Mega Stone detected!"
